The song "Man In Green" was probably formed in 2008. At that time, Leng Mei always saw advertisement of military themed restaurants when he taking subway line 10. That became the initial inspiration. This song is structured on Celtic folk's special guitar tuning "DADGAD". It's only played once at D-22 at the band's early age and never been played in public for very long time.
Later in 2014, the current drummer Zhang Yang joined the band. After several rehearsals, the band decided to pick up this old song. With new RC50 LOOP pedal, Leng Mei changed the structure of the song with bass. And bass player Yang Dan played guitar on this song. Then we have this new version .
