It was simple for me to come to the world
Come to hear nightly speeches made by the fowl
They always start to crow in the middle of the night
Like a spring bed that bumps us both awake
Better not rise; so as not to measure the night with the length of a piss
Better not rise; so as not to splash your sleeping face with piss
Cats in heat and thirsty mosquitoes
They'll suffocate if they don't cry out
To test their throats and see who's the loudest
Clouds crest on the right, rain covers the left
Like a shaky little bed carted into a concert hall
Better not rise; so as not to measure the night with the length of a piss
Better not rise; so as not to splash your sleeping face with piss
Better not rise; so as not to measure the night with the length of a piss
Better not rise; so as not to splash your sleeping face with piss
Tightly wound post-punk with splashes of new wave; heavy on twangy riffs, phased-out melodies, and understated vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 2, 2023

I have been playing this nonstop for the past year. I love their energy, their creativity and their punk attitudes. Best track is The Curtain, but honestly there isn't a dud track on here. Hope you come back to London again soon ❤️ Louise Chambers
