He attempts to walk on water
I see people gathering on the street corner
The night's becoming blurred
Until a ringing telephone cuts through the air
He says, "You better believe there is another me"
He says, "You better believe there is another me"
I know he's starting to have doubts
As he hears the ring of the telephone
This night is spinning out of control
He knows he's got all but nowhere to go
Well, I shouldn't have believed as I did from the start
Believed that yet another person has died in the city
I suppose when he died the train was still going
- he'd already reached his last stop
He says, "You better believe there is another me"
He says, "You better believe there is another one like me"
The album creeps in atmospherically before slowly blooming into an understated epic; a fairly limited guitar-driven palette is leveraged to creative and sensitive effect, evoking rain and radio static in amidst some top-notch post-rock melancholia. Tom Colquhoun
Heard Blue on Melbourne community radio station Three Triple RRR, and instantly looked it up on Bandcamp. I just found one of my new favourite labels! punkpete
Tightly wound post-punk with splashes of new wave; heavy on twangy riffs, phased-out melodies, and understated vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 2, 2023
Bleak, throbbing work that lands halfway between coldwave and shoegaze, this Berlin group hits that spot just under the breastbone. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 15, 2017
