"Summer Begins II" was recorded in the early 2017 along with the other tracks of "Through The Park, Almost There." For a while, the band was stubbornly into re-writing their existing songs, and they decided to start from what they thought was relatively bad song, "Summer Begins". After several rehearsals and re-writings, this old song was changed to a new song that sounded completely unrelated with the old one. Fuzz effect played a salient role in the song. With the total change on music, the band re-wrote the lyrics too, then here is the "Summer Begins II".
Tightly wound post-punk with splashes of new wave; heavy on twangy riffs, phased-out melodies, and understated vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 2, 2023
Bleak, throbbing work that lands halfway between coldwave and shoegaze, this Berlin group hits that spot just under the breastbone. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 15, 2017
