About to embark on a strange journey
The voyager presses his own time
As the clock strikes midnight
The dawn starts struggling inside of a box
I want to be with you, going downstream
I want to be with you, passing through our burial ground
I want to be with you, growing old as time goes by
Until our fantasy about what the future holds
Pierces our eyes
This is the night of the voyager
This is our last day
Until the drums sound
Until the killer appears
We go along with the sound
We go along with the road
The killer emerges from the rain
Dressed in black
He will play for us
The music that marks the end
Then the voyagers will cheer for the final victory
We'll begin to cheer for the final victory
But the victory has been sealed off in our minds
The album creeps in atmospherically before slowly blooming into an understated epic; a fairly limited guitar-driven palette is leveraged to creative and sensitive effect, evoking rain and radio static in amidst some top-notch post-rock melancholia. Tom Colquhoun
Heard Blue on Melbourne community radio station Three Triple RRR, and instantly looked it up on Bandcamp. I just found one of my new favourite labels! punkpete
Tightly wound post-punk with splashes of new wave; heavy on twangy riffs, phased-out melodies, and understated vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 2, 2023
Bleak, throbbing work that lands halfway between coldwave and shoegaze, this Berlin group hits that spot just under the breastbone. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 15, 2017
